The 2027 Rotary District 5030 Conference program is designed to inspire, equip, and connect you. While our full schedule is currently being developed and curated, we are actively working on securing high-impact keynote speakers for our plenary sessions and building this year's agenda around six high-level tracks tailored directly to feedback and requests from across our district.

Artificial Intelligence & Rotary
Driven by high demand following the District Learning Symposium, this dedicated track explores the practical, everyday intersection of AI and club operations. Beyond theory, we are designing a hands-on workshop where you can bring your own device to learn how to safely and effectively use AI tools in real-time. You will walk away with the confidence to instantly curate content, draft engaging club newsletters, generate social media marketing, and streamline your administrative workload.

Club Innovation & Engagement
Focused on building healthier, more resilient clubs, this track delivers modern strategies to revitalize your club’s culture, attract diverse new members, and keep current members deeply connected. We are planning interactive workshops where vibrant clubs from across our district will share successful blueprints, flexible membership structures, and updated meeting formats that you can easily take back and replicate in your own community.

Next-Gen Youth Leadership
Empowering the next generation of changemakers is a major focus for 2027, and this track is dedicated to bringing Rotaractors and Interactors directly into the main conference conversation. We are designing collaborative panels, joint workshops, and mentorship matchmaking sessions to bridge the gap between today's civic leaders and tomorrow's pioneers, allowing us to build sustainable partnerships for local and global impact.

Rotary Foundation Impact
The Rotary Foundation is the engine behind our grandest ambitions, and this track explores how your contributions translate into life-altering grants both in our backyards and across the globe. Through practical deep dives into successful global initiatives and best practices for district grant applications, you will hear inspiring, real-world storytelling from fellow Rotarians who have successfully managed projects on the ground.

Cause-Based Solutions
Rotary is at its best when tackling complex problems, and this track focuses on how clubs can organize around specific, targeted areas of focus to create measurable change. We are developing action-oriented sessions centered on environmental sustainability, clean water, literacy, and community economic development so you can walk away with actionable ideas, resources, and potential club partners for your next big project.

The Walla Walla Vibe
We are taking the conference out into the community to celebrate our host city by blending professional networking with relaxed wine-country charm. Our committee is actively planning immersive walking tours of historic Walla Walla, a hands-on community food-packing project, off-site breakout sessions hosted right inside local wineries (featuring wine-making and blending education), and intimate, small-group dinners with acclaimed local chefs.
